Throughout 2015 we worked with the clever folks at Aardman Animations to turn 500 years of history into a fantastic animated film.

We collected thousands of children’s drawings of the iconic Hampton Court Palace, its people and objects and our friends at Aardman lovingly stitched them all together to create a magical movie that retells the story of this extraordinary palace.

Watch how thousands of your drawings and 500 years of history were squeezed into five minutes of film.

Historic Royal Palaces have teamed up with Aardman Animations to create a five-minute movie about 500 years of history at Hampton Court Palace.

All children and young people can take part and create a drawing that might be included in the movie.

The film is being made throughout the spring and summer and it will be finished in October 2015 when you can watch it here on the website or visit the palace for a special screening.
